Friendly staff & a nice interior. Dogs are welcome, plus a children area (there was a colouring area for small ones with free accessories). Good menu, with a variety of options, including healthy choices. Atmosphere, music in background with a few people. Food was served within 10 mins, drinks was at the bar, & it took 3 mins to place my order. Interestingly, the server did check with me on any possible allergies. Great meal choice, (Chicken Bang Bang) which was the right temperature & good ingredients. Staff on hand to assist & check your meal is OK. Prices were typical of the area & the outlet. All in all, it is a definite 4 from me.

Called in on a sunday lunchtime with a child and a dog. Sat near the kids area where they provide toys. Staff are very welcoming and the restaurant nicely decorated. Food is delicious and the menu well curated. I appreciate the option to order and pay at table via the qr code.

Absolutely lovely place to eat. Meals are always tasty, atmosphere is spot on, staff are very friendly and the best part about Rondo is dogs are allowed. Our pup loves going.

I'd been wanting to try a Lounge for quite some time. Situated on the market square with a decent size outdoor uncovered seating area in front of the building. Inside, it's quite spacious with high ceilings & a mismatch of different seating table styles located all on ground level.Quirky framed pictures adorn the decorated walls .Even though there was low-key music being played, I found the environment to be quite noisy, nothing rowdy, just probably the acoustics echo levels from talking with the high ceilings not helping matters .Theres a great choice of food & drink options on the menu..I found the staff on duty to be very helpful & pleasant when I placed my tapas/drink order at the bar,cash or card payments are accepted. I really enjoyed the 3 different tapas choices &;would recommend a visit. I have since the above review returned back again a couple of times for just drinks & firstly sat outside as on this occasion it was a nice sunny day.It was very noticeable the tables even though had been cleared of empty glasses,needed cleaning & the floor area was a litter trap .The other visit was on a horrible rainy day, so sitting inside was the only option. A screaming crying child inside brought to my attention theres a child area near the entrance .Toilets are located upstairs( apart from the disabled toilet which was getting used by those who couldn't be bothered to climb the stairs)& i found the gents to be clean but a soap dispenser was out of action & a toilet cubicle door had a handle missing...My conclusion is from my experiences is its not the cheapest of places ,the tapas is great but it isn't a place for a quiet drink !

staff are always lovely and welcoming, such good food and drinks for the prices! been many times and will definitely be back. the overall building is super nice and always looks welcoming from the outside :)

Wow! Not enough stars to rate this restaurant. To say they blew us away with customer service is an understatement. 3 of us booked in for breakfast & we mentioned it was a pre wedding breakfast for the Groom, Grooms father & Best man. We arrived to find the table set up specially for us with a boxed flower arrangement & card written to the groom from all the staff. It was a tear jerker. Irrespective of the fact only 3 of us had booked to attend, the management had taken the decision to go the extra mile knowing we couldn’t possibly eat or drink enough to pay for the flowers or maybe they’d just break even. We talked about how amazingly kind they’d been all day. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. I nearly forgot to tell you just how great the food was too! The best breakfast I’ve had for a few years also. They have freshly squeezed orange juice which was a treat you don’t often find. Super sausages & black pudding! The groom is vegan & Rondo caters as part of their standard offer a full vegan menu choice. Quite genuinely, it’s brilliant with awesome staff! Thank you all.
